Today I was in the parade for Kent Cornucopia Days!
This campaign has brought me so many interesting challenges (the good kind) and new opportunities. I never thought I’d be in a parade and I did that today. It was really hot today so I’m very grateful I had a car to ride in instead of walking. Even with the umbrella and putting on sunscreen, I got burned.
My stickers should be in Monday (originally it was yesterday so fingers crossed) as well as my flyers. Hopefully I’ll have found all my signs by the end of the week to add stickers to them. I’m looking at is as a scavenger hunt! Just ~160 of the same thing. I’m also going to make a map and take pictures of them all and get a count of how many are still out there.
Ballots are mailed out on the 16th and the primary election is Tuesday, August 5th. Please remember to vote!
